Community Wildfire Protection Plan

The Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) was created in partnership with the PSFPD with input from our community and our community Boards. The purpose of the CWPP is to open the lines of communication between community members to heighten awareness of wildfire mitigation and wildfire hazards, to educate and prepare residents and property owners in the area and to identify, obtain and make available grant funds and other resources that can assist with these activities.

The Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) formed an executive committee in late 2023 to ensure this plan is actionable and that a strong focus remains on community wildfire mitigation projects.  A completed CWPP along with the dedication of volunteer community members helps Pinewood Springs access funding for local wildfire mitigation projects.  We will continue to update the community on these projects here...
