Community Training CPR Session Overview

The Community CPR class is designed specifically for laypeople, and is an excellent choice for CPR and defibrillator (AED) training in both community and workplace settings. This flexible program will help prepare individuals to respond to sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) and choking incidents. These classes are a Health and Safety Institute (HSI) curriculum and conform to the 2020 updates approved by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR).

 

There are no Community CPR classes scheduled at this time.​​

 

The Community CPR class will be offered 2 ways:

Option 1: Blended Online & In-Person Class

This CPR Class will be “blended learning”, a combination of online study (completed on your own at a home computer, approximately 90 minutes), followed by a hands-on skills assessment session (completed at the Pinewood Springs Fire Station and Community Center, 2 hours).

Option 2: Full In-Person Class

This CPR class will be fully in-person at the Pinewood Springs Fire Station and Community center, lasting approximately 4 hours.

Classes are limited in size as well, and each participant will have their own equipment.
