As of 7/30/24 from Fire Chief Plank:

Evacuation orders for the Stone Canyon Fire in Lyons have extended northwest all the way to the border of the Pinewood Springs Fire Protection District. Pinewood Springs is not currently threatened by either the Stone Canyon Fire or the Alexander Mountain Fire.

Pinewood Springs area residents should anticipate the possibility of evacuation orders extending to our area, and prepare for evacuation if necessary.
